This year we are celebrating 1900 years since the building of Hadrian’s Wall, and we are lucky at Layside that we can look out upon this National treasure every day. The weather has been fair over the past few days, and we have enjoyed walking our Labrador Bart along the Wall, and meeting people from all over the world who are once again returning to Northumberland to enjoy this magnificent landscape along with it’s Roman history.
