ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE
Check in is available between 1600 and 2000 on the day of arrival. Outside of these times, check in must be arranged in advance prior to arrival. As this is a small family business, there may be times when we are unable to meet you at the door on arrival. In this instance, your key will be provided at the door via a secure lockbox and the code delivered to you prior to your arrival.
You are required to vacate your room by 1030 on the morning of departure. If you require a later checkout time this may be possible with prior notification.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
General wear and tear is expected, but we reserve the right to charge for any damages/repairs required/excess cleaning.
KEYS
You are responsible for your keys for the duration of your stay. Lost or non-returned keys will be charged at £10 per set.
PAYMENT
All accommodation fees must be settled in advance to secure the booking. Any items/services purchased on site must be paid for by cash or BACS transfer.
ROOM RATES
Room rates may be changed at any time. This will not affect any bookings already made at previous cost.
BOOKING/CANCELLATION POLICY
Before committing to a booking at Layside, please be aware of the cancellation terms:
We require full payment for your accommodation in order to secure the reservation. This can be made using a credit/debit card or via BACS transfer. If payment is made via BACS transfer, your reservation will be confirmed on receipt of the payment. All credit card payments are made securely using Stripe Payment – we do not digitally store card details.
CANCELLATION
Customer cancellations can have a large impact on us due to the nature of our small family-run business and we require full payment at the time of booking. Late cancellations may mean that we are unable to rebook the room, therefore any cancellations made within 28 days prior to your planned date of arrival will be subject to a 50% refund. Cancellations made outside 28 days prior to your planned date of arrival will be refunded but may be subject to a charge of up to 15% of the room cost to cover card fees already paid by Layside.
Although highly unlikely, should it become necessary for us to cancel your booking we will contact you immediately. In this event, a full refund will be made.
FOOD POLICY
We cannot cater for any specific food allergens. Please speak to us if you have any concerns. Vegetarian meal options may be available with prior arrangement.
Evening Meals:
Evening meals can be pre-booked at the time of your reservation or by giving us 24 hours notice. All meals are made to order and availability cannot be guaranteed with late notice, although we will always try to accommodate any late request.
